What do we do?

We provide beginner guitarists like yourself with structured, step-by-step lessons; making it easier for you to learn guitar in your spare time. Unlike some of our competitors, we don't expect you to know anything about guitar before you begin. We take an extremely simple, yet effective approach to teaching you to play guitar so you never find yourself lost in our lessons. And because our courses are for download, you can use them anywhere, anytime. That's why over 200,000 students just like you have used Jamorama.

Our History

We started out as a small New Zealand start up back in October 2003. We specialized in "how to" guitar lesson e-books that helped people to pick up their dusty guitars and start making real music. We built a reputation for building quality step-by-step courses that "actually worked".

Then in 2005, we saw that some of our students were having trouble learning to play their favorite songs. They basically had one option. They could go to one of the major TAB websites and try their luck at attempting to decipher someones badly written TAB (that could turn out to be completely incorrect). We thought, "Far out, people don't have time to be figuring out how to piece together all these bad TABs". We put our pragmatic web and teaching skills to work and built a simple website called SongPond where students could just learn the songs they wanted using simple and effective video lessons. We made it so easy, anyone could use it. Our students loved it. So we added it as part of our Jamorama courses.
