My name is Waylon and I’ve always wanted to learn guitar. I’ve had the usual reasons for not really getting into it until later in life i.e. no money or higher priorities when I was younger, busy with my career and family as time went by. So I guess you can say that I’m a non-traditional older student of guitar, having started later in life. I played trumpet from 5th grade through 12th and I’ve alway loved music. I do wish that I would have continued my pursuit of music in some form or fashion. It’s one of those things that “If I had it all to do over again knowing what I know today…”

Water under the bridge – I’m now moving forward now and really enjoying the journey I’ve started with the guitar. It’s exciting and I’m really looking forward to learning and growing my skills with the guitar.
