Playing Along With Backing Tracks

2 Week ‘Kick Start’ Beginner Guitar Course
– with Mark McKenzie Part 10

“Playing Along With A Backing Track”

Today you get to play along with a simple backing track for the first time. The great thing about using backing tracks is that they give us something to lock on to. They also force us to concentrate on playing accurately.

Plus, I give you some pointers on what to play if you are struggling with the strum.

Sincerely,
mark-sig

Thanks a lot man. I’m still struggling to keep up and play those transitions smoothly but I’m confident I’ll get there soon! Quick question I received an email with another beginner course about chords, should I start that right away or I should wait till I finish this kick start course? Thanks!

  2. Stephen Daubey

Thanks Mark, I am keeping up so far.

Backing tracks are found under the course video on each course page (for courses that have them that is). Have fun jamming.
