“The G Major Chord”

Today you will learn to play the G major chord.

The version I’m teaching you today is what I call the Modern G chord – it’s the version that pretty much all guitarists use these days. To get the standard version, just lift your third and fourth fingers off and place your third on the bottom string, 3rd fret.
